Golf Changed my life
Golf Changed my life
I didn't grow up playing golf. I picked up a club during the pandemic in 2021, and what started as something to do quickly became something I couldn't get enough of. I taught myself the game, spent countless hours figuring out my own swing, and became obsessed with understanding why the ball did what it did.
Before golf, I worked in the tattoo industry and had always been drawn to creative work, connecting with people and finding my own way of doing things. Golf gave me a new outlet for all of that — but more importantly, it gave me a community and a new direction in life.
What started as a personal passion eventually turned into a career. I became a PGA of Canada professional and began coaching golfers of all different ages and skill levels. I've now had the opportunity to teach hundreds of golfers, and the thing I enjoy most isn't simply helping someone hit a better golf shot. It's watching someone gain confidence, understand their game and genuinely enjoy playing more.
That's what I want my coaching to be about.
Golf doesn't have to feel intimidating, overly complicated or like there's only one "right" way to play. I want to help golfers understand their own game, develop skills that actually transfer to the course and, most importantly, have more fun doing it.
And when I'm not coaching, you'll probably find me doing what I've always done — playing golf, testing equipment, checking out new courses, putting together fits, creating content and hanging out with the people who make the game so much fun.
Golf became my career, but it started as something I simply loved doing.
Now I want to help other people find that same feeling.
